This 1968 German movie was released in the United States in 1973 with the tittle Gorilla Gang. The stories of prolific British novelist and playwright Edgar Wallace became a staple for German crime and horror movies in the 1950s and 1960s. This one is based on a 1924 story, The Dark Eyes of London, which had previously been used as the basis for the 1939 film The Human Monster, starring Bela Lugosi. This is the Italian version.
