[176] leaves, including errata leaf and final blank. 12mo, contemporary calf by Severin Rötter of Wittenberg with panel stamps of August of Saxony on front cover and arms of Saxony on rear, both hand-painted, front cover additionally stamped H*A*P*S at top and 1579 at bottom, gilt edges gauffered and painted to repeating fleur-de-lys pattern, binding recased with spine ends and cover corners restored and endpapers renewed; insignificant worming through opening leaves, light marginal dampstaining toward end, Latin verses in contemporary hand on rear endleaves; cloth folding case.
