Man's Country was a bath house with branches in New York City and Chicago. In 1978 they installed two large billboards over Village Cigars on Christopher Street, featuring a parody of the Marlboro Man. The first read "Come to the Country, Man's Country," and featured an image of a rugged, mustachioed man in a cowboy hat smoking a cigarette. The second billboard simply bore the single, large word, "Come!" The Chicago outpost closed on 1 January 2018.
