The first illustrated with 284 photographs documenting Avedon's noteworthy career spanning half a century; the second including essays by Jane Livingston and Adam Gopnik, and illustrated lavishly with over 600 important representative images of this titan's photographic oeuvre. Folios, red- and blue-stamped linen-covered boards; enclosed in a matching clamshell box with the debossed title. SPECIAL EDITION, THE BOX WITH AVEDON'S SIGNATURE AND THE EDITION NOTATION 73/250, IN INK, AND ISSUED WITH 2 IMAGES.
