Additional Details

first edition in exceedingly scarce dust jacket of the author's second book and her first novel. Highly unlikely example in such a fine state of preservation with binding square and clean, and jacket near mint. "Aggressively advertised by her publishers it was said that the berth 'Lower Ten' was unsalable in Pullmans for some time after its publication" (Lilly, The First Hundred Years of Detective Fiction, 91).
