Four Americans in Paris.

Color screenprint, 1970. 1165x580 mm; 45 5/8x22 7/8 inches (sheet), full margins. Signed in pencil, lower right. Printed by Editions Domberger, Stuttgart. Published by The American Poster Company for the same-titled exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York.

The exhibition, "Four Americans in Paris: The Collections of Gertrude Stein and Her Family," December 19, 1970-March 1, 1971, brought together major art works (some 100 by Picasso and approximately 70 by Matisse, among others) collected by members of the Stein family, including Gertrude and Leo, during their years in Paris, along with family ephemera from the likes of a calling card imprinted with the names of Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas, living at 27 rue de Fleurus, to a scale model of the villa at Granches designed by the then little-known architect Le Corbusier for Michael and Sarah Stein.
