Snake Eyes.

Handmade paper, bamboo and fabric, 1975. 857x 665 mm; 33¾x26⅛ inches (overall). Signed, dated and numbered 26/33 in white pencil, lower left. Published by Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles with the ink stamps and work number in pencil, verso. From Bones and Unions.

According to the publisher's fabrication notes, "All rag paper pulp was poured into a wooden mold crafted to the artist's specifications. Pieces of fabric and bamboo strips were pre-cut, tied to the artist's specifications, and then laid onto the lower layer of paper pulp. A second layer of paper pulp was poured. Each work was then pressed and dried," and, "Snake Eyes was completed on location at Ahmedabad, India. The wooden paper mold was destroyed at the conclusion of the edition production." Gemini 636.
