In 1963 Cieslewicz moved to Paris, where he became a successful Art Director of various important publications, including Elle, Vogue and Opus International. He began to work more with photo-collage and montage techniques. Throughout his tenure in France he continued designing posters for the Polish Theatre. This is a superb example of his appropriation, and mastery of these new design techniques. Cieslewicz p. 101.
