Romare Bearden has made numerous versions of this important theme in both his collage and printmaking. An image of this same collage was used to create a large lithograph political poster Respect Human Dignity-Toby Moffet for Senate in 1982--the Democrat challenger ran and lost against U.S. Senator Lowell Weicker of Connecticut.
