Provenance: acquired directly from the artist; private collection.
An excellent, early study for the large 1970 collage of cloth, paper and synthetic polymer, in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, with intriguing notes by the artist for the enlargement of his design.
With--an autographed postcard of the collage, signed in blue ink and felt tip pen.
