This striking collage of an urban street is the left side of the image found in a Romare Bearden lithograph (see lot 111). This untitled print was published to support the 1976 production of Ed Bullin's Home Boy at the American Place Theater in New York. The right portion of the print comes from another collage, Urban Street Scene found in the collection of David C. Driskell, illustrated in Narratives of African American Art and Identity.
