In 1929, Roosevelt partnered with Basil O'Connor to purchase the resort in Warm Springs, GA, which they then developed into the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation. The Foundation was renamed in 1980 and is operating today as the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation.
