Additionally signed by the photographer, lower right. 10¾x13½ inches; moderate fading to inscription (but legible), remnants of prior mounting at edges verso. The letter, "F DRoosevelt," as Assistant Secretary of the Navy, to M.N. Long, expressing appreciation for his donation [to the "Eyes for the Navy" program]. 1 page, 4to, "Navy Department" stationery; faint marginal discoloration from prior matting, few small scattered holes (with minor loss), folds.
