The letter: "This will introduce to you Mr. C. Grant LaFarge, a member of one of the best architectural firms in New York. So highly have I thought of the firm that I appointed his partner, Mr. G.L. Heins, State Architect while I was Governor, and I had under me no more competent official. I understand that you are about to start the Agricultural Building . . . ."
