first edition, with a translated note about the provenance. The owner states that this is a copy on China paper given to him by Alfred Mainguet and explains how it differs textually from later editions. He states that it was previously in the collection of Jean Marie Anatold Chabouillet, a French antiquarian who became conservator of the cabinet of medals in the National Library and authored many works.
