Additional Details

Henry Rox was an accomplished sculptor educated in art and art history in Berlin and Paris. Rox created his "photosculptures," photographs of fruits and vegetables disguised as circus clowns, dancing women, and playful pups, among other amusing setups, in addition to his work as a sculptor. After spending a few years in London, Rox emigrated to the United States where he continued his work as a sculptor and taught art at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.
