With the oiginal printed announcement for the artist's first solo exhibition at Carlebach Gallery, New York, April 30-May 12, 1951, signed, dated "May 4th 1951" and annotated as a receipt to the original buyer by Lichtenstein in ball-point pen and blue ink.
According to Corlett, the impression illustrated in the catalogue raisonné, "Was the only one available for photography." We have not found another impression at auction in the past 25 years. Corlett 3.
