A dramatic, bird's-eye view of some of the myriad of activities available to travelers above deck on the Leviathan and the amiable mis en scène of an ocean voyage on this popular vessel. Pike designed several posters for United States Lines featuring the Leviathan; for each image, he implied the massive size of the vessel by never depicting the whole ship inside the frame of the image, as if it was simply too big to fit.
