"You acted very properly in losing blood. Should the pain continue, lose eight or ten ounces more of blood, and take any kind of cooling physic. If you are not relieved by those remedies, by all means apply a blister to your breast or to one of your sides. I am the more anxious for your treating your disease thus seriously, from recollecting that you inherit a weak breast. Drink freely of diluting drinks, & avoid animal food for a few days."
