A wonderful pictorial map of the California wine country from San Diego in the South to Eureka in the North. Known for her whimsical maps in the 1930s, much in the style of Jo Mora and John Held, Jr., which were published in Our USA - A Gay Geography, Ruth Taylor created these "cartographs" for every state in the union. Here, for the Wine Advisory Board in San Francisco she provides historical, touristic and wine-related vignettes from all over the state. Picturing America pl. 122.
