Thick quarto volume with title page printed in red and black within an elaborate woodcut border incorporating cherubs; large woodcut on verso of title page, full-page and text woodcut illustrations throughout; folding woodcut in signature n torn at the fold with loss to about half the sheet; lacking preliminary leaf a8, text leaf v8, and final 2 leaves O7 & O8; A2 torn with loss; bound in contemporary alum-tawed pigskin over wooden boards; contemporary marginalia in the text; (lacking clasps, title page torn and repaired from verso with losses; other folds and damage to some leaves; binding loosening somewhat but intact and unsophisticated);
