Tall narrow 12mo illustrated with two sets of engraved title and facing frontispieces with identical compositions but different plates, and ten additional full-paged plates (for a total of fourteen including engraved titles and frontispieces) bound in full contemporary parchment binding over wooden boards ornately tooled in black over both boards and in spine compartments, secured with brass clasps, edges gilt and gauffered, marbled paper endleaves and pastedowns, dusty, 6 x 2 5/8 in.
This charming devotional manual in its neatly-tooled and well-preserved binding is illustrated with emblematic plates based on the New Testament and contains an appendix of hymns.
