Davis, with the esteem and regard of his friend," dated September 22, 1910; half-title present; illustrated with photogravure frontispiece and forty-nine plates (most with tissue guards preserved); bound in publisher's full brown cloth with gilt stamping, teg., edges left rough; sporadic dampstaining along the top margin, occasional smudged stains, a few tiny closed tears; spine faded, bumped with a few chips to spine head, with textblock cracked in one place; housed in a green morocco-backed slipcase and chemise; 9 1/2 x 6 1/2 in.
