Working in a classical tradition, Sabin Howard is a contemporary artist who approaches his drawing and sculpting with acute attention to anatomical detail while imbuing expressive energy that brings his work to life. Currently, Howard is working on a commissioned sculptural relief for Pershing Park near the National Mall in Washington DC. This monumental sixty-five-foot bas-relief with thirty-eight figures is a long-overdue tribute to the American soldiers who served in World War I.
