Mucha not only exhibited at the Salon des Cent<>, but he was closely connected to La Plume<> the magazine which organized the exhibitions. In his career he created two separate posters for the Salon des Cent<>, this being the far more elegant image. As with the original, it was printed for the Maitres<> using metallic gold ink.
