SALVADOR DALÍ
Horseman.

Etching printed in brown on cream wove paper, 1975. 390x295 mm; 15 1/2x11 3/4 inches, full margins. Signed and numbered 26/200 in pencil, lower margin. Printed by Emiliano Sorini, New York. Published by Levine and Levine, New York. A very good impression.

Based on Dalí's earlier etching Don Quichotte, 1964 (Field 64-4). This second plate, for Horseman, was approved by Dalí and, according to Field, "An edition of unknown size was printed by Sorini, of which Dalí signed 200 numbered prints." Michler/Löpsinger 99; Field 64-4 and p. 237.
