The current drawing, along with lots 529 and 530, were likely made in association with the Petites Nus, portfolio of 8 color drypoints, published by Pierre Argillet, Paris, 1973. Dalí made a drypoint of a similar seated woman as a vignette for Poèmes Secrets, published by Argillet in 1967 (Michler/Löpsinger 199; Field 72-4 I, see lot 513).
