Acrylic, monoprint, color woodcut and relief on an assemblage of various collaged handmade papers and plywood, mounted on a painted plywood panel, 1989. Approximately 876x610 mm; 34 1/2x24 inches; with the mount, 914x813 mm; 36x32 inches. Signed and dated in ink on a paper label, verso, and inscribed "Bill" in ink on the mount, verso.

Master printer William Weege is Professor Emeritus from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the founder and artistic director emeritus of the University of Wisconson–Madison's Tandem Press. Sam Gilliam and Bill Weege were long time friends and collaborators. Gilliam created his first prints with Weege in 1973 at his Jones Road Press Print Shop and Barn in Barneveld, Wisconsin.
