Condition B+: repaired tears, creases and restoration in margins and image and along sharp horizontal folds. Framed. Brown was primarily a maritime painter, specializing in watercolor, but he also designed posters for the Cunard Line and other ocean liner companies. The coat of arms of the Isle of Man, featured next to the blank text box at the bottom of the poster, can be translated from the Latin as, "whichever way you shall have thrown [it], it shall stand."
