The first sheet is a printed letter in green and orange on Commissie voor Practische Kleurenpsychologie letterhead, with 9 members of the committee listed (with Sandberg as head of their graphic arts division). Together with another sheet printed with the single word "merci" in Sandberg's "torn letter" type, in navy and red, with his handwritten statement [to Zwart] "for your friendship and guidance - lida + will - ". The envelope is addressed "den WelEd. Gestr.Heer Arch. Piet Zwart/Rijksstraatweg 290/Wassenaar." A unique item with a wonderful association between two masters of Modern Dutch Design.
