An attractive, stylish couple are relaxing on a grassy bank on the island of Guadeloupe, watching the hustle and bustle of a busy Caribbean harbor, dominated by the impressive ocean liner. Most information on the Flandre, built in 1914, has been lost, and her name was taken over by another ship in 1951. The Compagnie Generale Transatlantique (also known as the French Line) was the parent company of such renowned vessels as the France, Ile de France and the Normandie.
