401/4x243/4 inches. N.Y.W.F., New York.

Maurer was a designer who worked for several of the most prominent Eastern American Railroad companies. Throughout his career he made posters for the New York Central Line, The Pennsylvania Railroad and the New Haven Railroad. This bird's-eye view of New York City depicts the original Penn Station, part of the city's skyline and shows the rail links to the World's Fair and the "railroad station on fair grounds."
