Dancer, designer, illustrator and artist, Saul Bolasni had many talents. Bolasni performed with the Valerie Bettis Dance Company and designed costumes for television and theater. He provided illustrations for a number of magazines and in 1942 one of them appeared on the front of the New Yorker.
