From 1891 until 1900 Saxoleine, a lamp oil company, was one of Cheret's biggest accounts. In all, he created 10 posters for the company and these are the second and the last posters of the series. In each poster he designed for the company, Cheret consistently depicts one of his "Cherettes" holding a lamp. However, in each poster, the color of the lamp shade, the color of the woman's dress or her stance with the lamp is changed. Broido 945, Maindron 784.
