A Fleur de Peau<>, "on top of your skin", was one of those sexy, humorous revues that Parisians adored and that attracted people from all over the more puritanical world. The title of the production explains Sem's caricature of a man tickling a girl in the back with his cane. The naughty nature of the revue explains her contortions in attempting to escape his attentions, which thrust certain elements of her body into prominent view. The drawings of the two characters are lithe and charming, and the typography is hand drawn. As per usual with his work, Sem has enlarged a caricature to create the poster, simply adding an orange background to act as the major, eye-catching element. This is the smaller format. Theater 33, La Belle Epoque 159.
