SCHEDEL, HARTMANN. Secunda etas Mundi. Double-page wood-engraved world map from the Latin language edition of the Nuremberg Chronicle, 415x590 mm sheet size, barest evidence of a vertical tear extending from the lower margin about half way through the image (very expertly repaired and only visible upon the closest inspection), 7 small wormholes along the fold which have been very neatly repaired, a few repaired short tears in the margins (one just entering one of the side vignettes), some other expert restoration along the sheet edges (not near the image), several small stains in the bottom margin and scattered light browning on the image.<\t>Nuremberg, 1493
