first edition. The third attempt to send relief to Greely turned out to be a rescue operation. Schley, aboard the USS Thetis and Willaim Hensley Emory aboard the USS Bear found Greely and 6 other survivors on the verge of starvation at Cape Sabine in June 1884. Arctic Bibliography 18385.
