A greatly reduced version of Hartmann Schedel's world map from the 1493 Nuremberg Chronicle. The miniaturized map loses little of its detail; however, the left-hand panel of odd creatures is left off. The present is a nice example of a rare incunabula map which Shirley notes is "less frequently found than the larger original." Shirley 20.
