Woodcut illustrations in text comprising 3 hemispheric maps, including one of the Americas, allegorical representations of the planets, zodiac signs, seasonal labors, phases of solar and lunar eclipses, full-page depiction of Anatomical Man, and Spanish royal arms at end. 3-6, 9-271 [i. e., 270] leaves; lacks the title (replaced with facsimile), next leaf, and third and fourth leaves of the table of contents. 4to, 202x148 mm, old limp vellum with spine title in ink, lacking ties, spine quite worn and reinforced with strips of vellum, rear joint partly cracked; contents browned with marginal dampstaining at beginning and end, opening leaves dog-eared, clean tear through text and illustration on M8, some text inked out or emended in accordance with the 1707 Expurgatorio, as noted in inscription on last page.
