In 2001 Scooter LaForge moved to New York City on a Cooper Union Residency scholarship. He has remained a part of the East Village art scene ever since. Known for his vibrant palette and expressive brushwork, LaForge creates in many media including painted unique clothing that has adorned such stars as Beyonce, Rihanna, Madonna, Miley Cyrus and Debbie Harry.
