Shepard Fairey's "Voting Rights are Human Rights" is the result of a collaboration between the artist and photographer Steve Schapiro who documented the civil rights movement in the 1960s. Fairey installed a mural of the subject in Downtown Milwaukee in 2020, part of a national tour in coinciding with the 2020 election season.
