An alluring Art Deco poster extolling visitors to the pleasure of a stylish, inland beach. The town of Carhue, in Argentina, was best known for the thermal waters of Lake Epecuen. In 1985 a local dam burst and the lake submerged the resort town of Villa Epecuen, which was never rebuilt (the waters receded in 2009).
