Gody was a watchmaker in Amboise who began making radios in 1912. The company ceased production in 1955. Here in an elegant, angular and Art Deco-influenced geometric pattern, square waves from a broadcast tower commingle with the circular waves from a radio dial. TSF, Transmission Sans Fil (wireless transmission) was the generic name for radios in Europe between the wars.
