Fine impression of a contemporary German derivation of Captain Smith's influential map of the Chesapeake region. This adaptation was issued in part 13 of Theodor de Bry's Grand Voyages, published posthumously by de Bry's son-in-law, Matthaeus Merian, in 1627. Burden 219.
