STANLEY WALTER GALLI (1912-2009)

Offset lithograph poster. 101½x63½ cm, 40x25 inches.

Galli was a California painter, illustrator and printmaker. Although a member of the New York and California Society of Illustrators, and the designer of 26 stamps for the United States Postal Service, he is best remembered for the series of posters he designed for United Air Lines in the 1950s and 60s.
