The 1980s fashion designer icon, Stephen Sprouse, is widely considered to be the inventor of the era's quintessential infusion of "uptown sophistication . . . with a downtown punk and pop sensibility." [1] His "Camouflage" clothing line came out of a collaboration with artist Andy Warhol who agreed to let Sprouse use imagery from his series of paintings. "Camouflage" pieces are some of Sprouse's most well-known and still sought-after designs.
