Additional Details

"Notwithstanding the sailing of the French fleet, it is my desire that you proceed with all possible dilligence in forming the two regiments of militia which when you have completed, you will march to Hanover Court House, where you will receive my further orders. P.S. A detachment of 500 men is to march from this the 25th, which will be join'd by 500 militia, at the head of which I mean to put myself in order to join Genl. Greene, unless I receive his counter-order."
