From the collection of Vincent Prager (grandson of the artist Joseph Oppenheimer) to the Zabriskie Gallery, New York; to the present owner in 2001.

Oppenheimer summered in Lake George, New York, where he was friends with Stieglitz and his family. The two artists met through Oppenheimer's sister, who was a model for Stieglitz and may be featured in this study.
