The rare series of 12 numbers in 9 issues, comprising Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5/6, 7/8, 9, 10/11, and 12, illustrated with reproductions of art work and typographical compositions by important artists, including picabia, john marin, picasso, maurice de zayas, and others; nos. 1 and 4 with pink, bright blue, and gold hand applied color, apparently by the corresponding artist. Folios, folded self-wrappers, nos. 1-9 on heavy paper and 10-12 on a glossy paper, slightly worn; lacks "The Steerage." first and only edition.

Both the front and rear covers of No. 1 have hand-applied pink pochoir coloring: the front cover is by Maurice de Zayas and the rear cover by Edward Steichen. No. 4, with hand-applied blue and gold coloring, is by John Marin.
