Portfolio entitled "On My Doorstep." With 9 (of 11) lyrical photographs of New York, Connecticut, Maine, New Mexico, Vermont and France. Silver prints, sizes ranging from approximately 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches to 13x9 inches (24.1x19.1 to 33x22.9 cm.), and the reverse, flush-mounted, each with the official portfolio seal embossed on mount verso; each photograph is matted. Elephant folio size gilt-stamped green cloth clamshell box; contents loose as issued, one of fifty numbered copies with Strand's signature on the colophon. 1914-1973; printed 1976

The artist's world is limitless. It can be found anywhere, far from where he lives or a few feet away. It is always on his doorstep."
